Our first tournament last year was such a great time and a special blessing to me and my family. I had just started my Chemo treatments but thankfully was feeling strong enough to be at the tournament. This year I am doing much better and am looking forward to playing in the tournament. Thanks again to all who came and participated last year. I hope to see each of you in October.
In His Love, Steve Freeman
I want to thank everyone who has been praying for me and my family as we having been fighting cancer. I am feeling much stronger now, and am slowly getting back on the road preaching/singing in revival services or one day events. Please check out the Caring Bridge link above for the latest health updates. Be sure to sign the guestbook at the Caring Bridge site. Your words of encouragement mean a lot to me and my family. We still have some open dates in the summer or fall if you are interested in me coming to speak/sing at your church, or other special event.

Growing up with cerebral palsy wasn’t easy and Steve will tell you that because he walked different than most people, he was made fun of, a lot. He would come home from school many days simply in tears because of how children would make fun of him. He would continually ask the question to his parents, “why did God make me this way?” His mom would always tell him that, “God loves you very much, and has allowed you to be made the way you are for a very special reason.” At the age of nine, he began to understand a little more about God’s love, and he realized that he needed to be saved. He walked down the aisle of his church the best he could, and invited Jesus into his heart.

A Note from the Site Developer |
|
I’ve known Steve personally for only a few years. We were introduced by a mutual friend when he was interested in having a web site created for his ministry. Since then, it has been an honor and a blessing working with Steve to design, develop, and publish this web site! The site has been through several design and configuration changes and Steve has been very patient throughout the entire process. What began as a simple personal and ministry information site, has now expanded to include an on-line store and a personal log. The color scheme and content layout was designed by Steve himself. On many occasions at Colonial Heights Baptist Church, I’ve had the privilege of hearing Steve sing and preach. His personal testimony has impacted me the most and encouraged me to continuously pray for my children as his parents prayed for him. Listen to his testimony using the link above and you’ll see what I mean. Better yet, go to Steve's Store and purchase the CD! |
